Pam Martin


Pam Martin came to WSB-TV in 1989 as an anchor/reporter. She was born and raised in St. Louis, Mo. She graduated from Parkway Central High School, where she was National Honor Society President, class vice president and associate editor of the high school newspaper. She graduated from Southern Methodist University with honors in three years, earning a degree in journalism. She was sports editor of her college newspaper and the first woman allowed to cover sports events from the Texas A&M press box. Pam came to Channel 2 from another network affiliate in Atlanta, and previously was anchor/reporter in Little Rock, Ark., and Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She has received local Emmy awards for anchoring and series reporting, an Associated Press Award for a series and an AABJ for series reporting. Her interests include traveling, gardening, antiquing, remodeling and her cat Ripples. Pam's first TV appearance was at the age of 5 on the "Romper Room" program in St. Louis.
